The absolute best in Canada at what they do The people that work here and the owners have incredible hearts. I will always praise the hard work that comes outta you guys.
Lance is amazing to work with. We are so grateful for him and his rescue. It definitely was a “Godshot” that he found the perfect German Sheppard puppy for me and my husband. (The pup certainly has a story, and it’s a very sad one) I’m so happy he fell into Lance’s care. He currently is learning how to be a good Doggo, he’s doing a lot of puppy socializing, and learning the fundamentals. He’s got a lot of separation anxiety, that they are currently working on. We cant wait to welcome him home, with open arms and so much LOVE!! This rescue is amazing! Update to follow!!!
I can't say enough about Emily and her calm disposition that is just her. No wonder she's a magician with dogs . I went to her with trust to get a good match for a new dog. It just couldn't have worked out better but I knew that. That's exactly why I went to Outrun.
Outrun is an awesome rescue and haven for dogs. They offer a really personal touch to getting to know their would-be adopters, and make it well known that after you adopt they are here to help. The staff are excellent, and the dogs get a lot of services and training while they await their forever homes. We have been super happy with Outrun, and it will no doubt be where we go when the time comes to bring another furry friend into our family.
We have a dog who was very reactive on walks. Other dogs, people running, cars and trucks and bicycles - he lunged and barked at them all. We took him for training sessions at Outrun (once a week - might have been 8 weeks, maybe 12) and with the expertise of the trainer our dog came to understand what was required of him (no lunging, no barking). It's now a few years later and with the positive reinforcement we learned at Outrun, people who knew him before and see him now can't believe the difference. We highly recommend Outrun dog training.
Literally, they care for these animals, every single one of them. They provide them a safe haven. They are worked with and trained on any issues that arise, have play time fed healthy food and most importantly, they feel secure. There is one dog I visit that is working through her issues as she was never trained but is a very kind dog, and this dog loves it there and is coming along nicely. The knowledge and education Emily and her team have, including the foster homes and volunteers, is a big asset to the thriving success of these animals and this Rescue.
Outrun rescue is fantastic they work with dogs that are being rescued for many different circumstances and does footwork to make it easier for puppies to become used to what their every day lives will be like!! We just brought our puppy home from them and our puppy is fantastic and we've only had her since Saturday!! I would 100% recommend outrun if you are looking to adopt and not shop!
